Najzaujímavejšie udalosti z tretieho týždňa NHL

Prinášame vám tretiu časť našej sľúbenej rubriky v ktorej zrekapitulujeme uplynulý týždeň NHL. Padlo niekoľko rekordov, nádherných gólov zákrokov či hattrickov. No najväčšia udalosť ktorá otriasla minulým týždňom bolo jednoznačne sexuálne obťažovanie z roku 2010, ktoré sa dialo v Chicagu.

25.10. 2021

Ešte len 19 ročný švédsky útočník Lucas Raymond strelil hattrick do siete Chicaga. Podarilo sa mu to len ako druhému tínedžerovi v histórií klubu. Prvým je klubová ikona Steven Yezerman. Detroit Red Wings zdolal Chicago Blackhawks 6:3.

26.10. 2021

Americký krídelník T.J. Oshie sa po týždni trápenia presadil hneď troma gólmi. Oshie ale nebol jediným hráčom s hattrickom. Útočníkovi Ottawy Drakeovi Bathersonovi sa taktiež podarilo nastrieľať 3 góly.  Washingtom  nakoniec v na góly bohatom zápase zdolal Ottawu 7:5.

Víťaz Stanley Cupu Tampa Bay sa od začiatku sezóny trápi. Suverénne najhorší tím minulej sezóny Buffalo Sabers naopak zažíva vstup do sezóny ako z ríše snov. Počas uplynulého týždňa si tieto dva celky zmerali sily a Buffalo zvíťazilo vysoko 5:1. O výsledok sa postaral najmä švédsky hokejista Viktor Olofsson.

Tím original six sa napriek veľkým posilám počas off-season trápi. Príchod Setha Jonesa a Marca-Andreho Fleuryho nič nezmenil a Chicago má po ôsmich zápasoch hrozivú bilanciu. Ani jeden zápas sa im nepodarilo vyhrať a na konte majú len dva body po predĺženiach. Hrozivé výkony si už vyžiadali prvú obeť a na poste generálneho manažéra rezignoval Stan Bowman, ktorý v klube pôsobil od roku 2005.

Seattle Kraken vyvesil v svojej hale baner ako znak úcty k bývalému tímu Seattlu, ktorému sa podarilo vyhrať Stanley Cup v roku 1917.

Kyle Baech bývalá jedenástka draftu a hráč Chicaga Blackhawks vyšiel na povrch s informáciou o sexuálnom obťažovaní, ktoré na ňom bolo spôsobené v roku 2010. „Keď som s informáciou vyšiel na povrch v roku 2010 všetko bolo organizáciou popreté. O incidente pritom vedel aj generálny manažár Bowman a tréner Quenneville.“ vyjadril sa Beach. Zatiaľ čo Bowman rezignoval na svojom pozícií generáneho manažéra, Joel Queneville ešte v tú noc stál na lavičke Floridy Panthers. Beach sa vyjadril, že o incidente vedela celá kabína a nikto s tým nič nerobil. Kyle Beach v NHL odohral len dve sezóny. Javil sa ako hokejista s obrovským talentom no po incidente nikdy nenastúpil do zápasu NHL.

Los Angeles Kings hlási obrovskú stratu. Stavebný kameň obrany Drew Doughty nastúpi do zápasu najskôr za 2 mesiace. Ide o sranenie v dolnej časti tela, pomliaždené koleno. Skúsený obranca zažíval jednu zo svojich najlepších sezón, keď sa mu v štyroch zápasoch podarilo nazbierať 7 bodov. Jeho meno bolo opäť skloňované s Norris Trophy. Dúfame, že sa po návrate vráti k rovnakým výkonom.

Po prepuknutí a potvrdení sexuálneho škandálu z roku 2010 odvolala Florida Panthers jeden z najväčších kandidátov na Staney Cup prišil o svojho trénera. Napriek výborným výkonom podal svoju rezignáciu Joel Quenevile. Svoj odchod okomentoval slovami súcitu dúfajúc, že sa takéto činy už nebudú opakovať

Morgan Rielly najdôležitejšia postava obrany Toronta predĺžil svoj kontrakt na ďalších 7 rokov so ziskom 7,5 milióny dolárov ročne. Druhý adept na kapitána zatiaľ za Toronto odohral 580 zápasov v ktorých si pripísal 309 bodov.
